Accountants and payroll providers hold a great deal of client data. Even so, payroll is often positioned as an executional process and little more.
Better reporting lets that same data become the basis of an advisory proposition. Not simply reporting that the salaries have been processed, but sitting down with the client to look at how personnel costs, contracts, staffing or absence are developing. That raises the value of the payroll practice.
